What “same visit” actually means
If the model is common and we stock the part, we open the phone, move the parts that have to move, test charge and image, and close it before we leave. If the part is unusual, we quote it and come back with the right one rather than forcing a cheap panel that fails the frame.
Parts
We use quality aftermarket assemblies and say so. We do not pretend a third-party screen is an Apple display. True Tone and some face-ID behaviors depend on the original parts staying paired. We tell you what will and will not carry over before you approve the price.
What we will not do
We do not bypass locks, pull data, or “clean” accounts. If a phone is iCloud locked or carrier locked, hardware repair does not change that. We also will not install a new screen on a phone that does not power on until we know why.
Questions
How much is an iPhone screen in Lafayette?
It depends on the model. Older iPhones often start near $80. Recent Pro models run higher, commonly into the $150–$250 range for a quality panel. You get the number for your exact model before we drive.
Can you fix it while I wait at home?
Yes. That is the default. Plan on 30 to 75 minutes for a screen or battery once we are set up at your table.
Do I need to turn off Find My?
Not for a normal screen or battery. If we have to replace a part that Apple pairs, we will tell you what to toggle, and you do it. We never ask for your Apple ID password.
