What we take for electronics recycling in Lafayette
Rapid Repair Electronics accepts phones, tablets, cables, chargers, and small circuit boards for recycling in Lafayette, Broussard, Youngsville, and Scott. We do not take televisions, large appliances, or leaking batteries.

Best way to hand it off
Add it to a repair visit. A shoebox of old phones and a knot of cables rides back with the tool case. Dedicated pickups are scheduled when the volume is small enough to be reasonable.
Data
Reset anything that still turns on and remove the account. We are not a certified destruction service. If a device will not power on, assume the storage could still be read by someone with a bench, and tell us if that matters.
Where the rest should go
TVs, printers the size of a microwave, and lawn equipment do not belong in a phone tech’s trunk. Use the parish recycling events for those. Batteries that are swollen stay in a non-metal tray until we can take them with a repair visit — do not toss them in the trash.
